The track has been prepared, competitors are keen to race, and the weather forecast is looking good. Finally the 2012 racing year begins, and what an event to start with.
The 2012 Junior Top Guns double header starts tomorrow at Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club. If you are in the area, come along and watch some of the countries best 7 – 16 year old drivers battle it out for the prizes at this annual event. Karting is a family sport, so bring the whole family.
Club President Adam Bourke has stated that entries are now closed, and no further entries will be accepted. With 155 entries across eight classes, the racing over the two nights is sure to be exciting for the competitors and spectators.
It looks like it will be great weather after last year’s wash out, and with 155 entries on both nights we should be in for some great racing.
