Congratulations to past Oakleigh member Oscar Piastri on the announcement that he will drive full time for McLaren in the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship.
Oscar joined the club as a 10 year old back in 2011, he won the Junior Clubman club championship in 2014 before heading to Europe to chase his F1 dream.
The whole club will be cheering Oscar on next year and in to the future and hope that the success he’s had in his career up until this point follow him into F1.
